We have taken another nice step forward with PostgresPURE. As of now, PostgresPURE is also available on RHEL 9 and Rocky Linux 9. As can be expected from us, we have set up our production process of PostgresPURE, including automated testing of all components on their own as well as in conjunction, for this purpose to ensure consistent quality.
For now, PostgresPURE on RHEL 9 and Rocky Linux 9 is only available for X86_64 architecture. In the coming period, we will make sure that it will also be available for ppc64le architecture.
What makes PostgresPURE unique?
PostgresPURE, 100% open source, combines community versions of PostgreSQL with a powerful set of open source components to launch and manage your PostgreSQL database environments, and comes with sustainable release management and 24/7 premium support. It’s a subscription-based solution without any vendor lock-in.
Innovation never stops and that’s why PostgresPURE is always in motion. As our customers know, we follow the release schedule of the PostgreSQL community and Splendid Data releases PostgresPURE quarterly.
For us this means that besides the new (minor) releases of PostgreSQL, we also upgrade the other components of PostgresPURE, where needed and useful, and add new components all the time. Of course we extensively test all upgrades and additions within the context of PostgresPURE.

Note
It’s important to know that RHEL 7 and CentOS 7 will become End-of-Life per June 20, 2024. In May 2024 we’ll release the last minor of PostgresPURE for RHEL 7 and CentOS 7.
